ASL INTERPRETERS

Facilitate communication between Deaf/Hard of Hearing individuals allowing equal access for all. SLS, Inc. interpreters are highly skilled and follow the Code of Professional Conduct as set forth by the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf.

Interpreting services can be provided for, but are not limited to:

  • Educational settings

Educational interpreting provides equal access to students, parents, teachers and other employees who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing, or those who are hearing needing to communicate with Deaf/Hard of Hearing individuals. Educational interpreting includes K-12, colleges, universities, and trade schools, as well as situations such as counseling, clubs, field trips, school camps, IEP meetings, graduation ceremonies and a variety of other events.

  • Employment settings

Including job interviews, staff meetings, trainings, performance evaluations, and conferences.

  • Community settings

Including civic events, medical appointments, depositions, special events and more.

  • Services can be provided onsite or remotely.

Some classes or meetings can be virtual which would necessitate interpreting to be done remotely. Services are provided to fit the needs of the individual or situation.
